The Hertford-Northampton Smart Start Partnership for Children collaborates with local agencies to provide essential programs and resources for young children and families. Our goal is to identify service gaps, reduce duplication of efforts, and ensure families receive the support they need.
Many valuable programs already exist, but they often go underutilized. By leveraging Smart Start funding and maximizing local resources, we help expand and enhance services that directly benefit early childhood development.

The Hertford-Northampton Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency proudly offers a Lending Library designed to support the needs of early childhood educators, parents, and caregivers. Our resource center is a valuable hub for those working with children from birth through age 12, providing hands-on tools, expert guidance, and practical materials.


Whether you’re a parent of a young child, a student in early childhood education (ECE), a child care professional, or a school-age teacher, the Lending Library is here to help you thrive. Our collection includes:
